IDEA Shanty

Alicia Dvorak, Ben Tsai, Callie Recknagel, Claudia Leung, Joe Rand, Troy Pieper The I.D.E.A. Shanty (Innovation, Design, Energy, Art) is a space where art and science intersect and where recycled materials and renewable resources are at the forefront of interactive experimentation, creation, and play. We will build a working wind turbine to generate electricity that will power the projects taking place inside the shanty. The programming will be developed in partnership with the Science Museum of Minnesota's Design Team youth program.
