Help Downloading Microworld Files Downloading MicroWorlds files: The MicroWorlds projects on the class pages are compressed and saved as .zip files. To save them on your computer, click on the download game or download project link on the class page, and save the file to your computer. Use an unzipping utility, such as WinZip or StuffIt Expander (Windows) or StuffIt Expander (Mac), to unzip the file and save it on your computer. Opening MicroWorlds files: Once the MicroWorlds file is saved and unzipped, you are ready to open it. Windows: Open MicroWorlds and use the File -> Open menu to select and open the file. Mac: The files on the web are saved as Windows versions, so the initial opening process is slightly more involved on a Mac. Once you have opened and saved the file once, though, you can always open a file by using the File -> Open menu option in MicroWorlds. To open a project for the first time:
