Simulations and Artificial Life - June 14, 2004
Ages 13 - 16

In this class we spent the week learning about making simulations. We looked at living systems as models for designing simulated environments and creatures. Using compound and dissection microscopes we took a closer look the life in a pond. This is a movie of one thing we found. We also built our own ant farms from simple materials. Here is a movie of one of the farms. The sims we made take many different perspectives, so try them all!
