Game Pad, Oct 19-20, 2006

In this class, students designed and programmed their own computer games using Scratch software. They also created game controllers by making simple switches that can be controlled with hands or feet.

Scratch is being developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the MIT Media Lab, in collaboration with KIDS research group at the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies.

Scratch will be available for download later this Winter (2006-07)
