Digital Illusions - August 26 - August 30, 2002
Ages 9-12

In Digital Illusions we explored several different ways of tricking our brains into seeing something that wasn't there. In the beginning of the week we made all kinds of anamoprphs and then moved on to Red-Blue 3D images (Anaglyphs). The students wrote short stories to be told through a series of 3D-images and put them into webpages. Click below to see their stories. (Note: To view these pictures in 3D you will need a pair of red-blue 3D glasses - here are some instructions)

We also used Blender and 3D design software to make 3D objects on the computer and then simulated real-life 3D effects in the images below.
