Jayden's Adventure in China

By: Jayden Lin

When I was in Kindergarten I went to China. Before I went to China I went to Hawaii. In Hawaii I did a lot of stuff but I swam in the Ocean and in the pool most of the time. My Mom, my Sister, my Cousin, and my Grandma came with me to China. We took a plane to China it was a long ride but we stopped in the Tokyo and took a connecting flight to China. When we finally got to China we met up with a group. I was the youngest person in the group because I was only in kindergarten. Our tour guide was a native of China, so she knew a lot about China.

In China there wear stands that sold watermelons, but we could not eat them because of the water that they washed them in. If we drank the water in China we could get very sick, because they do not purify the water. They do not do that because they do not have as high of standards as we do in The United States of America. Some people who live in China drink the water and some of the people there don't it because it could make them sick also. Even though we could not drink the tap water we could drink the bottled water because it was up to our standards.

We went to a lot of different Countries in China but I am not sure of all of them because it was so long ago. I know that we went to The Great Wall of China, and the Emperors Palace.

I am going to tell you about The Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China is a long wall that the Emperor of China built so they would be protected from enemies. When we got to one of The Great Wall of China's entrances it was so crowded that we would probably have to wait at least five hours so we had to call a lot of people to make sure that we could go to another of the many enterances. After a while we finally could go.

When we finally got to see the Great Wall of China we could climb it. . Some of the stairs were bigger than me! To get to the top we had to climb a lot of stairs. Once we got to the top we had a great view of China. When we went down The Great Wall of China there was a family that wanted me to be in a picture with them. I said yes but that was the last time that I would say yes.

The Emperors Palace was very big. It was one of the most beautiful things that I had seen. The Palace was also very crowded. that is all that I can remember.

I hope you liked the true story of when I went to China.
