Make your next trip to the Science Museum unforgettable by adding a Learning Lab for your class!
Learning Labs are fun, unique and interactive hands-on investigations connected to exhibit topics. Each 50-minute learning lab takes place in the museum's classrooms on level 2, facilitated by an instructor from our team of experienced science educators.
The Science Museum's Learning Labs support student learning in the Minnesota State Science, Math, and Social Studies standards. They are specifically designed with your students' educational needs in mind and support your efforts to encourage their exploration of the scientific world.
Learning Labs are available for school groups at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from October to December 2014. From January to May 2014, Learning Labs are available at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Minimum/Maximum class size: 16/32 students. Reservations are required at least 2 weeks in advance for Learning Labs. Learning Labs Price: $6 per lab, per student. Requires museum admission. Minimum 16, maximum 32 students per lab. (288 students total capacity per day)
