KAYSC Internship Program
STEM work-experience opportunities, high school graduates and KAYSC alumni
Through collaborative partnerships with community work-experience programs and colleges/universities, KAYSC builds supportive work-experiences in STEM. Opportunities include:
- Project/Crew Assistants: Interns assist teen crews, and work with youth participants to plan for life after high school
- Educational Outreach Assistants: Interns plan and facilitate outreach workshops (ie. I Can Be An Engineer!, and Family Service Learning Days)
In addition to their role in programming, interns receive ongoing professional development to learn informal STEM teaching techniques/best practices, develop STEM workforce skills, and investigate the role of STEM in their adult lives.
