Partnership Opportunities

SciMathMN, a non-profit, statewide education and business coalition advocating for quality K-12 science, mathematics and technology education based on research, national standards and effective practices, is seeking a highly organized individual with strong communication skills and a passionate interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to serve as its next Executive Director. Because this is a part-time contracted position, comprised of 400-500 flexible working hours per fiscal year, the successful candidate must be able to operate independently; manage a diverse set of tasks; work with the Board of Directors to articulate and advance a clear vision in support of high quality STEM standards, teaching, and learning in Minnesota; and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including educators, legislators, and business leaders. An ability to motivate and take direction from the Board and guide its active participation in support of SciMathMN's mission and to build strong networks to advance the organization's work are also essential. Legislative, fundraising, and technology skills, as well as K-12 educational experience, are highly desirable. Candidates should send a resume (two page maximum) and a letter of interest describing the skills and experiences they would bring to this position to:
