These are projects that the IDEA Cooperative teens are working on.

Summer Design Team Projects
Here's a slide show of what Design Team has been up to this summer. We studied graphic design, advertising, and logos for two weeks and made some on the computer then "printed" them on the embroidery sewing machine. The past five weeks we learned all we could get our minds on about boats and boat building and are making our own out of recycled materials.

KAYSC Chain Reaction
For three days during Spring Break 2008 kids from different crews participated in a magnificent chain reaction. The kids separated into individual groups and came up with their own section of the chain reaction, but it had to tie into the surrounding teams' sections. The theme for the chain reaction was "spring". The materials we used had to do with anything involving springtime. There were some electronics, like switches, motors and Crickets. We set the chain reaction off during the Youth-O-Rama event in the KAYSC, during spring vacation. There were lots of guests there (families, friends and staff), with participation from all the crews: Park Crew, Water Crew, Learning Places, Fluid Team, and Lab Crew.

Cardboard Furniture
The Invention Crew was its own first client. They filled their empty lab with furniture they built from cardboard.
