Science Fusion events celebrate culture and inspire the next generation of scientists
Science, culture and opportunity will meet during the Science Museum of Minnesota's popular
Science Fusion event series, which take place the first two weekends in January. Join us, and encourage students and families to join in as well, for this series of events that celebrates the accomplishments of the African American, American Indian, Latino and Hispanic, and Asian American communities in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Visitors will have a chance to meet science professionals from leading Twin Cities companies who'll display their work and conduct demonstrations. It's a hands-on look at the scientists' expertise in a science-fair style setting and is the perfect atmosphere for in-depth, one-on-one interaction between visitors and presenters.
Free with museum exhibit admission. Up to four children get in free with full adult price ticket.
African Americans in Science, Saturday, January 5; American Indians in Science, January 6; Amantes de la Ciencia, January 12; and Asian Americans in Science, January 13. Events take place from 1-4 p.m. each day.
