Earth Day/NASA Climate Day 2013

Future EarthThe Science Museum is celebrating Earth Day a day early! Plan a visit on Saturday, April 20 to join us in the festivities—and put your appreciation and awareness about our impact upon our environment into practice all year long.

With presenting organizations representing a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds, the 2013 Earth Day celebration at the Science Museum has something for everyone. Earth Day/NASA Climate Day 2013 at the Science Museum will feature:

New this year! "Love the Earth" music with popular musicians John Munson and Matt Wilson. Munson and Wilson will perform at 2 p.m. on the Atrium Stage on level 3.

At 3 p.m., catch Patrick Hamilton, the Science Museum's Director of Global Change Initiatives, and Paul Huttner, Minnesota Public Radio's chief meteorologist, for an exploration of our changing climate.

Earth Day/NASA Climate Day festivities are free with museum admission.
