Welcome, Planet Changer! What do we want our future Earth to be?

Future Earth, our newest Science Museum of Minnesota-produced exhibit, explores the fact that humans—all 7 billion of us—are both the dominant agents of global climate change and the innovators who have the power to keep our planet thriving well into the future.

What will Earth be like in 2050 with 9 billion people? No one knows. But as the healthiest, wealthiest, most educated and most connected population in Earth's history, we're in a good position to face the challenges ahead.

Join us in exploring Future Earth!

Future Earth is funded by the National Science Foundation, with support from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the University of Minnesota's National Center for Earth‐surface Dynamics.
