Directions to the museum

East on I-94
From I-94 East, take the Kellogg Blvd exit. Go right and follow Kellogg Blvd. Take Kellogg Blvd to the three-way intersection of Kellogg, West 7th Street, and Eagle Street. Take a right down Eagle Street to the second stoplight, Chestnut Street, and turn left. Proceed to the lower ramp entrance.

North on I-35E
From I-35E North, take the Kellogg Blvd exit. Go right and follow Kellogg Blvd. Take Kellogg Blvd to the three-way intersection with West 7th and Eagle Street. Take a right down Eagle Street to the second stoplight, Chestnut Street, and turn left. Proceed to the lower ramp entrance.

West on I-94
From I-94 West, take the 12th Street exit and follow to Jackson Street. Turn left and go south to Kellogg Blvd. Turn right onto Kellogg, and continue six blocks. The museum will be on your left. Be sure you are in the left lane and follow the Exchange Street underpass, which goes under Kellogg Blvd. Continue down Exchange to the first intersection and take a left on Eagle. Then take the next left on Chestnut and proceed to the lower parking entrance.

South on I-35E
From I-35E South, take the 10th Street exit to Jackson Street, turn left and go south to Kellogg Blvd. Turn right onto Kellogg and continue six blocks. The museum will be on your left. Be sure you are in the left lane and follow the Exchange Street underpass, which goes under Kellogg Blvd. Follow Exchange to the first intersection and take a left on Eagle. Then take the next left on Chestnut and proceed to the lower parking entrance.

Parking

Access the Science Museum's parking ramp from Chestnut Street. Enter the museum by taking the parking ramp elevators to the Lobby level, where the Box Office is located. Visit our parking rates page for more information.

Accessibility

There are 18 designated accessible parking spaces located in the museum's parking ramp. Vehicles up to 8' tall can park in this ramp. Nearby ramps also have accessible parking.

Visitor policies for safety and security

The Science Museum invites visitors to enjoy the museum in a safe and secure environment. Our security guidelines for visitors are:

• All bags will be inspected before you enter the museum. This includes handbags, purses, belt-packs, backpacks, diaper bags and other containers or parcels of any type.
• The following items are strictly prohibited and will not be allowed in the museum: weapons of any kind, illegal substances, caustic liquids, anything else deemed potentially harmful to other visitors or objects in the exhibitions.
• The museum is not responsible for personal property. Please leave all non-essential items secured in your vehicle or elsewhere.
