Visitors of all ages are invited to join FOX 9 and women scientists from throughout the area for the Girls & Science event at the Science Museum. This annual community event is designed to foster girls' enthusiasm for science by showcasing female scientists in wide-ranging fields of science and technology. It's a perfect opportunity for parents to introduce their daughters to the Twin Cities' best and brightest science professionals and show them that science is vital to our changing world. Learn More

Ultimate Dinosaurs

Learn about a whole new breed of dinosaurs—from South America, Africa and Madagasgar—and how continental drift altered the landscape that set the stage for the evolution of these bizarre creatures. Explore the concepts of continental drift and tectonic plates, watch a brief paleontology documentary that examines the science through the work of experts, and be awestruck by an enlarged video projection of sauropods that will immerse them in a prehistoric environment that gives a sense of the scale of these southern giants.
