What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy is produced from sources that cannot be depleted, such as wind, water, and the sun.
Minnesota's governor, Tim Pawlenty, has proposed spending $40 million on his Next Generation Energy Plan, which focuses on renewable energy sources. In his State of the State address in January, Pawlenty said, "Renewable energy is an important part of Minnesota's future."
