Actually, these axes are very small. They were probably used by children, and it's unlikely either the axe or the child would be strong enough to fell a tree.

I think that that this bronze axe came from the same material as a penny. I noticed that the axe is not new, it is from a differient time period. I believe it is an origianal copy.

I think that the penny was the copper on the axe label. Sometimes it was used for cuting trees.They are similar to small tools.

this is an ancient axe head. it was found with out the wooden handle because it is so old it was probably eaten by termites about 1000 years ago.
