So what did you think of the exhibit?
we thought the exhibit was really great. one of the best that you guys have put on. it was something that many kinds of people could enjoy. were impressed with the amount of information and things to look at. you guys have done an amazing job. we are extremely impressed. we will for sure tell everyone about it. good job!!
it was 4 losers only. only sick minded ppl like the ppl who go there shldnt belong in the world. save the rainforest!!!!!!! remember abe lincoln!!!!!!!
hello this was an amazing exhibit and i raelly enjoyed seeing it, it was a place where i would come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think you dont care about this so dont come back anymore then
it was so boring and sick iv been sitting here for so long waiting 4 my parents to get done so i can leave
i agree. i dont like the body parts of men like that. ive been waiting too
you have a attitude that sticks, quit thinking of only yourself.
don't type that on here than. go do it somewhere else.
you really should put fun stuff in it
Are you crazy? This place was amazing!!! It was so fun looking at our bodies at different angles!
no im not crazy about this place i pretty much hate it
screw that this is fun!!!!!!!! NOT
it was enjoyable, but see the musles for real is kind sick. but when you get use to it.
This was a really good exhibit. It was cool to be able to see inside of someone, and it was educational. I thought it was great!!
I really think you should put some Hands-On exibits. That wouldd be really fun and enjoyable for people of all ages. Just think about it!
I totally agree!! My kids love to be able to learn things by doing and not just seeing!! They are very active children and just by looking they don't seem to learn as much as when they have the hands on approch!!
I agree I think it would be really cool to touch the human body. I know they are fragile but it still would be really cool.
u really should put some fun things in for the kids while the parents look around
this exhibit was one of the best that the science museum ever put on. Except for the viking exhibit. I still have the beads from the necklaces.
I really enjoyed Body Worlds, especially the figure skating and baby exhibits.
this exhibit is really cool and fun!
you need to get a life kid. if you dont want to come here then don't come but don't ruin it for everyone.
dont be so mean! just because you didnt enjoy the exhibit doesnt mean you have to criticize people for liking it! peace to the world!!
There are more than one views to this. If you don't like reading what other people think about this and think its wrong if they don't write it, then don't read the comments page! I didn't really like this exhibit either, it may be educational but it is sick minded in my opinion!!!!
i think this was a total exploitation of the human body, male or female, and this should not be allowed. then on the flip side, it is very educational, but there are other ways to education rather than exploitation. where the hell is art when looking at the disrespectful poses of a man or female?
yu are totaly right this exibit sucked
It didnt suck! that was awesome! My friend says you have issues
You are not right! First this place can teach you so many things you would probably wouldnt know. I do agree though that this exibit was not totally awesome, but it is filled with facts. Without going to vist this exibit you probably still would not know where some bones are placed and some of what the bones are called.
I didn't think it was a bad exhibit. it was interesting!
Ithought it was creepy too. But my Dad thought it was really great but looking at all the meat made us hungry for lunch.
Ummm...are you feeling ok?
i think what u said was really mean!
you can still remember abe lincoln and save the rainforest while enjoying body worlds
maybe u just don't know how to apprecaite what nature gave us. the body is beautiful no matter how it is displayed. it is just art
No offence but I find the body totally discusting from this angle! When it's got the inside in- then it looks good.
i totally agree with you. i think it should be portrayed differently.
i agrre
oh, I can't believe you! how can you say that was a loser exhibit! it was awesome! shame on you.
I think you are so wrong this place is amazing. It rox my sox off. I hope that the muesuem does this again. I think it was very cool and educational!!!!
Dear Diary,
Today I learned that inside, i am really, really ugly
NNY
nice.....very ugly
What are you thinking,I thought the exhibit was informational and fun.
hey hey hey don't be using that language!!!!!!
No one belongs in the world then. :P
How could u like it im with u guys its nasty
Body Worlds was an amazing exhibit that displays great understanding for the human body. It is something that can help everyone begin to understand more about their body and its make up to better our health as a society. Those that don't appreciate this are ones that need to maybe look at it as more of a learning experience to better their own lives.
Just like the losers who decided to try to improve medicine...hmmm...
Ok, only the sick minded would think that was sick minded.
I think this exhibit was awesome! I didnt know soo much about our bodies! i had been longing to see this and it was better than what i thought it would be! it brokedown the body soooooo well!!!!
I thought body world was cool.
What are you thinking!!!!????? This is an incredible scienific discoverey!
Sick? Not in a real way-when people agree to donate and it is about education. Do not be afraid to understand your body - just like many things replace fear with understanding and respect. Besides its the kind of people the make such exhibits and see them that are the one who will/do work to save the rainforests.
i dont think this was ment 4 sick minded ppl. it was kinda cool.
This place is awsome. I think that it is very educational!!!!!!! I would recomend this to anyone who wants to be a doctor!!!!
this was the most nasty exhibit ever. i threw up in my mouth three times. disgusting!!!!!! go juicy!!!!!!!
i know what u mean. it as a living nightmare! {only i wuz there 4 hrs so i couldn't wake up from my nightmare}
How can you find this scary? You cannot undermine how amazing this exhibit is. If it was so bad, then leave!
i agree this stunk
this was a waste of 3 hours
i thought it was gross!!!
You're gross; learn to appreciate things like this
Hey, now. You're free to disagree with other visitors' opinions, and to say what you want to, but our community policy clearly states that we won't tolerate any personal attacks or name-calling.
Play nice, everyone.
i yhought the same thing at first....but then as i got deapper into 2 it i realized it was pretty cool.
im really glad i wemt.
tickets were kinda expensive thugh.
it was COOL!!!!!!!
well then you must be gross because they are just showing you what you look like.
i couldnt diagrre with u more it was really coll 2 c all of the embros and the basketball dude my whole family enjoyrd it alot!
i would defetly tell a friend 2 come!
thx alot SMOM
(science.musem.of.minesota.)
So was that fun???? Now I call that disgusting!!!!
it's just what our bodies look like inside, so if you think that is disgusting you're calling yourself disgusting, get used to it, it's in you!
u need to get real and deal kid!!!!!!!!!!!!! If u think it's ssoooo nastie than leave.
it's only gross because we're so unused to thinking of each other as bloody, meaty blobs. and we are. deal with it.
ewwweeee GROSS
the exhibit was sucky
If you didnt like it you could just not go to it! my friend says use proper grammer!
We thought that the exibit was amazing. We feel that it is not gross in anyway. It wasa look at the human body like no other. thank you very much!!!! it was better then any text book ever written.
Peter, Angel, Ryan, Nikki, Cassie, Anna, Molly, Amy, Sheri
is the exhibit still around because i heard it was closed now or something
The exhibit will be at the Science Museum until September 4.
Here's the museum's BODY WORLDS website.
In the first 34 days of the exhibit, more than 100,000 visitors saw BODY WORLDS. (This happened faster here than at any other venue that has hosted a BODY WORLDS exhibit except for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, which opened the exhibit to coincide with schools' spring break.)
To accommodate the number of people who want to see the exhibit, we're expanding our hours; we'll be open from 9am to 10pm every day. (Last admission to the BODY WORLDS exhibit is at 8:30pm.)
Also, the exhibit will change throughout its run. Today, we're expanding the prenatal area (which has generated lots of visitor comments, both positive and negative) with four new specimens showing abnormal fetal development. And we expect a few new full-body plastinates in the next few weeks.
I really liked the baby section in Body Worlds..it was interesting to see what each stage in pregnancy looks like. I liked it a lot...it was awesome.
it was great!
awesome!
interesting!
The body worlds exibit was ok in my opinion. It would have been better though, in my opinion. If it had been a little brighter in there I probebly would have stayed in the exibit longer. Also if there had been more information on each part, mabey some information on how they help the body work, and such then I would have learned more. From my stand point, the *musium* is for learning, not just showing. If there had also been a more interactive part to each part of the exibit it would draw more people in. You do want money, right? Well make it more family orentated by interactive items. I am impressed by the items ,though,it raises question on the where-abouts that you got the parts. But over all I think that it was displayed well, people could see everything, within time. it was set up well, in order and such. You could see things clearly. It was easy to find the exibit, if you knew the *musium* well enough. I think this exibit was well advertized, as you have sold out.. right? next time there is another exibit, it may be nice to get a email, if you may. my father and mother are parts of the *musium* members. * * = spelling mabey wrong

If you are not too shy, one excellent way to get interactivity is to ask museum staff and volunteers questions. They have often researched about the exhibit and love to share what they have learned. One reason I volunteer at at the Collector's Corner is to show and talk about the cool crystals and minerals we have. Some visiters will "interact" for over an hour. When people talk with us it often makes our day.
If you don't appreciate what the museum does so that you can learn things, go find another museum!
i'd just like to say that if you wanted the Body Worlds exhibit to be more interactive or family oriented, you could have purchased headphones that would provide you with audio commentary about all of the different exhibits shown. You wouldn't have given yourself a migrane by doing all that tedious reading. Also, you don't have to raise any questions about where they got the parts. They've made it very clear that the bodies were willingly donated, so you don't need to worry about any lawsuits that might pop up. Oh, and it's Museum, not musium. People don't need to come to the exhibit if they are just going to be pessimistic about it.
The specimens in the Body Worlds exhibition come from the Institute for Plastination's body donation program. These generous individuals bequeathed that, upon their death, their bodies could be used for educational purposes in the exhibition. You can learn more about the Body Worlds body donation program by going here.
i LOVE this place soooooooooooooooooooooo much im coming back in the summer sumtime
Love always your science friend
Sarah
i thought this place was kinda gross but in the same way cool
Body Worlds is so kool!! but why is there always guys??? I think the puzzle is cool when you have to put the body back together. Me and my friends had names...dr.Brain..Dr.Organs..and dr.Brain..
According to the press materials from Body Worlds, the majority of the whole-body plastinates are male due to the fact that male bodies generally endure the process of plastination better than female bodies. In addition, more males have donated their bodies since the program started. However, most of the organs used in the exhibition are actually from female donors.
That was just PR. They finally revealed (www.bodyworlds.com) that they didn't want to appear to voyeouristic by showing too many female bodies.
i thought the exhibit was great too! I had lots of fun and it was really interesting to see all these real people who were really alive at one time! It was great and I hope a lot of people can enjoy it.\r\n
i love body world.\r\n
okay, i thought this place was kinda cool, but it kinda made me sick!yeah and the martin worker here is really nice!
I think the website and the mueseum has tons of information for kids and adults also kids and adults can have fun TOO be excited parents even if you don't have children the museum is great I think everyone LOVES IT I agree this is the best science mueseum I've been to.
well i thougth this was ok it made me feel preety sick so it wasnt that enjoyable but it is good to know what everything looks like because thats how we work.
i thought that it was creepy and yet really funny!!! my friend and i thought that it was kinda boring. i also wanted to know why it was so quiet. my favorite body thing was the body holding another body. they were supposed to be figure skating, it was toward the end. the little baby exibit was cool, but it kinda creeped my friend and i out. i thought that the body exibit was cool, but it wasn't as cool as i thought it would be!!! we learned a little about it in school and it sounded gross. i don't get why people would donate their dead bodies to this place, their privets were exposed. i won't ever donate my body. you should have done a better topic instead of bodies. but many old people seemed facinated by this exibit. there was also to many reading discriptions and i didn't read them because they lost my intrest and bored me. i'm sorry that it's boring!!! No effense!!! many people seemed to like it! but i still thought it was boring. why would you waste your money? oh well, this is just my opinion! bye and sorry!!
We thougght the exhibit was great! It was really impressing to see all the bodies that have been donated to the museum. Peace out.
Ja, es ist sehr gut!
This thing was really cool. Really cool how the plastination works. I can't wait to come back.
i disagre.
i think that this exhibit was fun and you should do another one similar to this one but some of this stuff is nasty
I think the exhibit was done very well over all. Particularly interesting was the pregnancy/fetus/infants exhibit. In future Body Worlds Gunther may want to expound on the functioning of the brain as it relates to the functioning of the body. Particularly, what areas of the brain are responsible for controlling heart and breath rate? What area of the brain is responsible for
coordination? What hemisphere of the brain controls spatial/linear thinking? Or verbal/linguistic thinking? If possible a cross section exhibit featuring the brain similar to the cross section exhibits of the various organs and muscular systems of the body would also be helpful and interesting. Thank you.
It was just one of the best exhibits I've been to. It helped me see the human body from a completely different view.
this place was ok at first, thenit got boring, then it just plain grossed me out, it would be nice if you removed the reproductive orgns as well.
i thought that this exhibit was interesting and it was cool to look at all the pepole in movements at that you can see there body and how it works!
it was sooo kool!!!!!!! i liked the part about the babies it was kool to see their growth and development stages.
I thought that this was one of the most interesting exhibits the Science Museum has ever had.
I think that the exhibit was informational and intersting, but was a little gross to see the prganat ladies
The exhibit was amazing. And very phyiscal
i cant really see what is so interesting about this exhibit. it sort of just bored me and the fact there is a 20 minute line to get in the fetus area is ridiculous. i dont have a problem with people who enjoy it, im just saying it doesnt excite me or interest me.
i liked it but i think the exhibit needed more women
I like BBQ, and this was a fansinating look at human bones and flesh.
The exhibit is really not anything too radical once you think about it; they've been doing this kind of thing to ancient Egyptians for years. This is just a great opportunity for the average layperson to see the inner workings of the most underappreciated machine in existence. Also, don't forget that many scientists have spent many years bringing it to you.
I was afraid it would be shocking to see the exibit but I was surprised to find that I wasn't shocked at all. It was interesting and amazing to see how we look on the inside. I'm glad I came to see the exibit today. And I might even visit again before it ends.
I was fascinated by the belly buttons. I have no idea what I *thought* a belly button looked like, on the inside, but that wasn't it! Gives a whole new meaning to "navel gazing."
I thought I'd be pretty freaked out by at least a few of the models, but I found myself approaching each one with a medical fascinaton I rarely posess. I recently had hand surgery and I've also been diagnosed with BHJ syndrome; I found it much easier to understand with suitable models on hand.
we really enjoyed the exhibit and enjoyed the learning experience that was offered here. It made us truly consider plastination as an option due to not only the educational purposes but the integrity that was upheld in creating the exhibits and the models as well. We also enjoyed the views on life and death presented throughout the museum. Thank you.

umm
the science museum is a fun place to be
but body worlds was totally radicall it was da bomb
so go to body worlds today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that the exibit was really fasinating and interesting to look at. I really liked how you showed the reasons for many common problems in the body today such as arthritis and black lung. Good job, Science Museum!
i like the bodies you have up
The second time around was even better. I was able to really examine the exhibit. It was truly a once in a lifetime exhibit.
Just curious: did you see BODY WORLDS twice at the Science Museum of Minnesota, or did you see it once somewhere else?
i enjoyed the movie that i saw in teh theatre. i also liked the baby exhibit and seeing the development stages of a child. i am glad that i will now be able to complete my extra credit for my Biology class....... thanks
I thought that Body Worlds was a place of Science, a place of learning about different kinds of things that bodies can do, and I really thought that (now that I have seen this place) learning about our bodies are intersting. I really enjoyed being here and seeing all of the things our bodies can do.
MORE WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less men
it wuz pretty sweet. it wuz totally awesome dude! wicked!!!! everyones should come, and don't forget! its an opportunity u shouldn't miss. even if it sounds gross, its not!!
i am going right now! It sounds like a life changing experince. thanks for the edvicne o seeing it. Im sure I wont regret it.
the human bodies were so cool!!!! They were gross, but awesome at the same time. If you are reading this you should defentily go right down to the exhibit. Its a life changing experince!!!!!!!!!
I thought the humen bodies were so cool i learned things that I never knew. I'm glad people donated their bodies.I thought the most interesting exhibit was the babies.I hope to come here again sometime.
It was so gross!!!!!!!!!! All of the muscles were showing and it was not cool. Just seeing inside a body was nasty. so if you want to be grossed out you should go!!!
well what did you expect from something called bbody world?
who ever u r thats patetic b/c this body worlds duh your goan see that stuff OMG
i think that the body worlds exibet is scary. living nightmare
i think body worlds was really cool
awesome it was very fascinating to see how the muscular systems of the body functioned to make your body move. the intellectual learning for my human body grew in fascination.
guten tag! meine name ist nicole das exhibt ist toll und SUPER!!!!\r\n
I thought that the exhibit was GREAT! Because now we get a chance to view it without having people just explain what the body does and looks like, a first had experience is better and more memorable than anything else. So i think that it was a success.
i think it was realy cool and funny.
i think that it was really scarry and i didnt feel quite right among all the male bodys
i encourage you people to keep teaching other people about that stuff.my mom is a doctor and found it interesting also.i know some people found it disterbing but i dont.it is exactly whats in your body...whats sooo gross!!!!!\r\n
I thought it was a fascinating, educational experience. Few people ever stop to think about what lies underneath their skin; what keeps them breathing, moving, and thinking. It's amazing to actually see how complex and fragile we are. It's a unique, rare exhibit, that you should go see if you haven't already.
i really liked it i thought it would be scary but it was cool and interisting
CRAZYCOOL
I thought that this exhibit was very interesting and I learned alot about the body that I did not already know.
it was very exciting i learned a lot from this experience. I enjoyed it very much. thanks
sincerely,
jack
it was super
Did you find any of the plastinated specimens more interesting/beautiful/disturbing than others? Which were your favorites, and why?
I like the fetal development room best. I found the stages of development and the pregnant woman to be very powerful to me in my current situation as a brand new dad. It's amazing how everything in a woman's body is able to make room for a baby! And to see how a baby grows was great as well.
This is PROOF that a baby is a baby from the earliest stages. Therefore, abortion is homicide. It's the killing of an innocent human being. You can tell from the exhibit. That was the best part.
Since this (Science Buzz as part of the Science Museum of Minnesota) is an institution of science I feel compelled to address your use of the word proof. For a scientist proof would be based on empirical evidence (the results of multiple tests and experiments). Scientists rarely claim to have proven anything. They do forward well supported theories based on supporting evidence and many disproven hypothesis.
Visually observing the fetuses is not enough to determine whether a "baby is a baby". This distinction is more of a social definition rather than a scientific one. I don't mean to enter into a debate about the social issues of abortion because this isn't really the appropriate forum for this issue. Yet I do feel compelled to comment on your use of the word proof in a scientific context.
This does not prove that abortion is homicide, there is many different views and understandings of what is considered murder.
A baby being a baby doesn't proove anything, because it doesn't proove whether or not the baby has a soul. Anyway, this is an extremely controversial topic that upsets a lot of people, so it's not a good idea to write about it here.
Pretty incredible stuff. The most interesting part of the exhibit was the "fetal development" section. It makes me approach my views on abortion from a different viewpoint after seeing the embryos in the early stages. Very interesting exhibit and highly recommended.
Wow! What a trip. I found the pregnant woman exhibit in very good taste. I was afraid it was going to be scaryand offensive, but judging by the comments of those standing in proximity to myself, I guess I wasn't the only one who thought so. One thing that was really cool was the fact that I happened to be standing next to a couple of different boyfriend/girlfriend appearing couples near the time line for the embryos....the reaction from the young men was neat, as in they had no conscious idea about babies/developement at those stages. I heard alot of "wow, you can see their fingers, etc...'even after all the PSA'a telling the public that babies are alive at conception...I am not pro..anything, but it was nice to see young people learning.
I thought the exhibit was really great but I didn't like the body slices.
I've always wanted to do a "Freakshow" exhibit. Not some mean-spirited stare-at-the-conjoined-twins kind of throwback deal, but an exhibit about self-made "freaks" of the Pete Rose Circus variety. It won't happen; I only bring it up because the idea seems to spark some of the same emotions, good or bad, that the BODY WORLDS exhibit does. Probably because, in the end, both are exhibits about the human body?
I think there are four stages that visitors to the exhibit go through. (Look around: you can almost see them on people's faces.) The first one is kind of a knee-jerk, visceral reaction. It can be positive or negative--"cool," "revolting," "beautiful," etc. The second is a sense of amazement, which I think happens no matter how you feel about the exhibit. After all, human bodies are amazing. The third is a sense of wonderment: "Why would someone do this?" And the last is a sort of scientific curiosity: "HOW did you DO that?"
What do you think?
Pretty sure that it wasn't scary but it was interesting to see those fetus', it was super depressing!
It was way too tempting to touchthem so you should have some hands on stuff for us next time! Seriously.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
The 5 of us!
wow...how can anyone still think abortion is not killin' a human???
Hi every body yeah I agrie. My mom s friend's friend is haveing a kid that has \r\nspiabifala or some thing like that and she wants to abort it! at least have the kid and let some family who can take care of a spical need child insted of killing it!\r\n
That was wrong for anyone to see children shouldn't be exposed to such wrongness and i am sure many parensts agree maybe you should ask your self if this is what you really want your children to see!!!!! i think it was horrible and i am never coming back!!!!
This exhibit is good and healthy for all children to witness, I hope your not a parent yourself
Parents visiting the exhibition should read the family guide. It is a great resource to help parents prepare for questions that they might be asked and to help them prepare for their visit with their kids.
this is such a cool exhibit!!!!! i especially liked the figure skaters very very interesting
I thought it was cool
This is such a cool exhibit. I like the body work or what ever it is called. Its a little bit wrong folr little kids to see the body parts of the adult but its ok because sooner or later they will have to learn it anyways, so the sooner the better. Gotta dip. Bye-bye!!
Isn't it wrong for you guys to put the body parts up for people to see? I mean, its ok for adult but little kids, its not right. And by the way, isn't exposing other peoples body like killing them and showing it to others. If I was the one who is exposed and torture, then I wouldn't like it. Just try to put them in your shoe for once.
I'm not sure what "body parts" you're referring to--the dissected bodies themselves? the individual organs? reproductive organs, individual or as parts of the plastinates?--but I'll take a stab at answering your questions.
The "Families" section of SMM's BODY WORLDS website contains the following information:
We also recommend that parents and teachers prepare children for what they'll see in the exhibit by talking to them about it ahead of time, explaining what they'll see and what the purpose is.
As for your second question, no, I don't think that showing the plastinates or the individual specimens is in any way like "killing people and showing them to others", or like "torture." You know the disclaimer you see at the end of movies that says something like, "No animals were harmed in the making of this film"? Well, no people were harmed in the making of this exhibit. Every donor signed a lengthy consent form that explained exactly what would happen to his or her body after death. And the donors' families also agreed to the donation.
Not liking the display of the bodies is a perfectly legitimate reaction; I don't mean to minimize that at all. (If you want to read more perspectives on this, surf over to "Scientist on the Spot." We're featuring four different experts over the run of the exhibit, each with a different perspective on organ/body donation and the ethics of the show and related topics. We've featured Paul Wojda, Catholic theologian, for about a month, and we're just about to replace him with May Yeu Heu, Hmong physician.)
But these people CHOSE to be part of the exhibit, and we should respect their choices just as we should respect yours.
As with any public event, parents are responsible for researching content and exercising their own judgment about what is appropriate for their children to view. I think this exhibit represents an excellent opportunity to broach topics that otherwise mightn't be discussed, and for children to explore science in a very personal way. The SMofM has been very responsible about notifying visitors about the content of the exhibit.
I thought that this exibit was really cool!!! I liked seeing all the different bodies doing the different activities!!! This was a GREAT experience for me!!! I would diffenetly come again!!!
wow!I did not like the baby part at all! I liked the rest. talk to you later, anonymous
it was alright. i wish i didnt come to see it. i feel sick! but it was a lil ackward straing at their genitals. yuck!
i dont kno i hanvt seen it yet but im sure its amazing and cool!
this exhibit was awesome...anyone who thinks otherwise has problems with themselves and should see a psychologist...anyway thanks for having this... i appreciate it even if some ppl dont. whatev.
How could you do this it is gross and distrubing
educational value,
I love your exibit, I learned alot about the human body and how it works. I can't wait to come back and see more of your exibits.
Sincerely Paul Douglas Mahoney
It was really cool I learned alot anyone that thought it was gross are wimps
In the case of the pregnant women who died and were plastinated along with their unborn children, one wonders if these children would have given consent to be plastinated and if these children were at an age of viability where they could have been delivered as premies and survived as people rather than objects of "art"?
There was a blanket statement saying that the unborn baby was NOT viable outside the womb. I think people should read what they are viewing instead of staring at it and coming to ridiculous and false conclusions. I also find it abhorrant that people are making this exhibit all about pro-life and pro-choice decisions. Just because a fetus looks like a human at 8 or 10 weeks does not mean that it can function outside the womb as a viable person. Hell, we can't even make our own decisions until we are two years old! Get over your propoganda and appreciate this exhibit for what it is - a way to educate ourselves about how the body works. It an honor and a privilege to be given the opportunity to view something so remarkable and unique.
