Linda Figg, of the Figg Engineering Group, has helped design and build bridges all across the country, from the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys, to the Wabasha Street Bridge down the street from The Science Museum of Minnesota. She’s also the designer behind the new St. Anthony Falls Bridge, which is currently being built to replace the collapsed I-35W bridge in downtown Minneapolis.
The bridge will be open for traffic on December 24. If you can't make it to the construction site, check out this page for photos of the bridge going up, or go here for a virtual flying tour of the new bridge!
