We have to stop the momentum for "pussywillow." That's not a very falcon-y name. All of the other falcons will make fun of the falcon that ends up getting that name. Vote for anything else besides "pussywillow."

Last year's winning name (after the true winner got disqualified for being too long) was Starshadow. C'mon, guys. If we name one of this year's falcons Pussywillow, we'll get a reputation we might not want!

Your totally right!

If we name our birds Pussywillows people might think minnesota is kind of fruity, and we aren't and our falcons aren't too. Nobody should think that.

Falcons should have cool tough names that they'll like like morpeus.

Falcon banding is a wrap. The chicks didn't seem to happy to be plucked from their box to get their band and give a blood sample. As each one was taken out of the box, the others were united in a chorus calling for their parents to help. And the adult falcons kept flying circles around the smokestack where the falcon box sits. It was a great show for the early-morning visitors to the museum's River Gallery today!
