In the photo below, Saturn can be seen in the lower left and the star Regulus hovers above the Moon (they're easier to see if you click on the photo for a larger view). My brother and I waitched the eclipse yestserday but I thought one happens every year? I'm gonna miss it cause it's so beautiful!

Hey Candice_318...If you want to keep tabs on upcoming eclipses, NASA keeps a handy list. There will be another lunar eclipse in August, 2008 but it will only be a partial eclipse and won't be visible from North America. Sadly the next total lunar eclipse won't be until Dec 21, 2010!

my family and i had a great time watching the eclipse
I was actually driving around 9 or 10 o'clock and i was trying to find the moon. I heard about it on the radio; it looks really cool.
man that sucks that it will be here in 2010..... my girlfriend thought it was romantic and stuff and it was free =p
