Henry Whipple was a passionate, sincere Christian who sought to practice the principles of fairness and brotherly love that he preached. Many pieces illustrate Whipple's respect for Indian worldviews, through his acceptance of Indian made objects blending with traditional Episcopalian accoutrements.
